Alpine Thermal Imaging Systems Thermal Roofing Inspections

The emerging field of areal Thermal Imaging Systems utilizes the flexibility of UAV, Drone technology is the fastest and safest method of early problem detection on electrical, mechanical and process equipment, as well as the building envelope and roofing deficiency. Utilizing this technology saves money.

  • Detect potential failure points before they happen.
  • Pinpoint the exact area of a roofing leak.
  • Scheduled maintenance outages to reduce overtime calls.
  • Detect structural defects
  • Potential time-saving identifying issues.

Infrared thermography non-destructive testing is an excellent tool in the commercial environment. It is great for inspection and troubleshooting many aspects of a building. Applications for infrared thermal imaging surveys are found in almost every aspect of every industry. Alpine SPECIALIZES in Moisture Detection on Flat Roof Surfaces and is always the Very Best solution!

Infrared for Predictive Maintenance

Nearly everything that uses or transmits power experiences an increase in temperature before a critical failure. Management of downtime is critical to maintaining the reliability of your electrical and mechanical systems both from a maintenance cost and supply of service. Infrared thermography is one of the most cost-effective and proven predictive maintenance technologies available. Leveraging this technology allows a facility manager the ability to quickly, accurately and safely locate problems prior to failure. In a highly competitive marketplace finding and fixing a poor electrical connection before a critical component failure, can mitigate the costs associated with manufacturing downtime, production losses, power outages, fires and catastrophic failures.

Infrared for Leak Detection

When there is a leakage in a roof membrane, the insulation inside the roof becomes wet. The wet insulation retains heat longer than the rest of the dry roof structure. As a result of this difference, the wet areas will hold heat energy longer than other areas providing Alpine’s trained infrared inspectors a clear picture of the potentially damaged area. The temperature difference between wet insulation and the dry roof is very small (on average 1-4 degrees), so Alpine only uses only latest state of the art FLIR infrared cameras with the highest thermal sensitivity available for your roof inspection.
